Oppo Find X9 Series Launching on October 16

Oppo has officially confirmed the launch date of its new flagships, Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. Both devices will run on ColorOS 16, which will be unveiled on October 15 during the 2025 Oppo Developers Conference.

The Find X9 series in China will debut on October 16. Oppo also confirmed that the phones will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC along with the company’s Trinity Engine technology.

Battery life will be a key highlight: the standard Oppo Find X9 will carry a 7,025 mAh battery, while the Oppo Find X9 Pro will come with a massive 7,500 mAh unit. A dedicated physical button for AI features will also be included.

ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, will introduce a redesigned interface, advanced AI features, and smoother performance. The update won’t be limited to the Find X9 series; it will also roll out to OnePlus 15, OnePlus Ace 6, and Oppo Pad 5.

According to Oppo’s Chief Product Officer Pete Lau, the Find X9 series will also launch globally. More details are expected as the launch date approaches. Meanwhile, pre-reservations for the Find X9 Pro are already live in Oppo’s official China online store.
