Poco has launched its latest budget phone in India — the Poco M7 Plus 5G, the successor to M6 Plus from August 2024.

The phone packs a 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging. Poco claims it’s the thinnest phone with a 7,000 mAh battery, measuring just 8.4 mm.

It features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ LCD with 144Hz refresh rate, 550 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The punch-hole front camera is 8 MP.

Powered by Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, the M7 Plus offers up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, expandable to 2TB via microSD.

The dual rear camera includes a 50 MP main sensor plus an additional lens, with AI Dynamic Shot, AI Eraser, and AI Sky Replacement features. Running Android 15-based Hyper OS, it promises 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches. Google Gemini is preloaded.

Other features include IP64 rating, side fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, and 217g weight. Colors: Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, Chrome Silver. Pricing: $160 for 6/128 GB and $170 for 8/128 GB. Sales begin in India on August 19.
