vivo Y50i goes official – with just one difference

Back in July, vivo launched the vivo Y50 and Y50m, and now the lineup welcomes a new member – vivo Y50i. Interestingly, it comes with almost identical specs, except for one small change.

Display and performance

The device features a 6.74-inch LCD panel with 720x1600 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 1,000 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage.

Cameras and battery

On the back sits a 13 MP main camera, while the front has a 5 MP selfie shooter. The highlight is its huge 6,000 mAh battery, but here’s the catch: the Y50i only supports 15W wired charging, unlike the 44W fast charging on the Y50 and Y50m.

Other features

The phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and runs Android 15 with Origin OS 5. It measures 167.3 x 76.95 x 8.19 mm and weighs 204 g.

Price and availability

Available in Black, Azure, and Platinum, the vivo Y50i is priced at $210. For now, it’s only available in China, with no word on global availability.
